AttractionsLetchworth State Park has been dubbed the Grand Canyon of the North. I beg to agree. It's nice but nothing like the Grand Canyon.
New York City is bustling and hopping. Check out the trendy neighbourhoods in Trebeca, near Universities and Upper East Side. All designer products in Chinatown are fake. Go have a smoke meat sandwich at one of the delis or have a good NY style bagel. If you are coming by car, look into staying across the bridge in Jersey and taking transit in. Saves you the hassle of parking and traffic. Finger Lakes region is known for it's wineries and refreshing lakes. It's also home to a hidden gem of Watkins Glen State Park. Nature has created thru erosion beautiful water pools/falls. The walk thru the gorge is a great way to spend a day. In the winter, skiing at Bristol Mountain near the expensive suburbs of Victor NY Ithica is home to Cornell University. It has a large area of old homes and buildings especially near campus. Good place to have a coffee and feel what student life is at this Ivy League school Nearby is Corning where you can stop by the Corning glass factory and museum. It's quite interesting and lots of demonstrations. |

Don't forget to stop off at Niagara Falls New York. The Canadian side of Niagara fall is superior to the US side. Best view and more to do. It's cheaper too as you will be using Cdn $$ vs US $$. |
